The Nonprofit Forum is a valuable initiative established by the CenDel Foundation to strengthen and support the nonprofit community throughout Central Delaware. Designed to foster collaboration, professional development, and resource sharing, the Forum provides nonprofit leaders, staff, and volunteers with opportunities to learn from experts, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections with their peers.
Through educational workshops, networking opportunities, and discussions focused on current challenges and best practices, the Forum equips organizations with the tools and knowledge needed to enhance their operations, expand their reach, and better fulfill their missions. Participants gain practical insights on topics ranging from fundraising and grant writing to governance, advocacy, and organizational sustainability.
By creating a collaborative environment where nonprofits can learn from one another and work together, the Nonprofit Forum plays an important role in helping organizations maximize their impact and better serve the communities of Central Delaware.
The Forum meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Parish House at Christ Episcopal Church in Dover. Upcoming sessions include a legislative update on July 9, strategies for planning and executing successful fundraising events on Aug. 13, and a workshop on grant research and funding opportunities on Sept. 10. Each session begins at 9 a.m. and provides attendees with practical information they can immediately apply within their organizations.
